AI labs pay for company records: support tickets, call recordings, CRM histories and contracts. Ask Claude or Cursor about any company or a whole list from your CRM, and it tells you which ones hold that data, so you pitch the right companies to data buyers.
Real AI Data Value Scores, 11 October 2026. Company names are hidden. Scores are estimates from public signals.
Data brokers and scouts spend days checking companies by hand before they pitch them to a data buyer. With our server connected, your assistant checks each company for you: its AI Data Value Score, the data systems it runs, the data it likely holds and how many years of records it has from before AI.
MCP is the standard way for AI assistants to use outside tools. You connect it once, and you ask in plain words.
The server offers six tools. They read data only and change nothing in your account.
| Tool | What it does | Lookups |
|---|---|---|
score_company | Scores one company by its domain: score 0 to 100 and grade, activity status, industry, years online and years before AI, data systems, likely data and strengths. | 1 |
score_companies | Scores a list of up to 100 domains. Waits for the results for about 20 seconds and returns a batch id for any domains still being scored. | 1 per valid, unique domain |
find_companies_by_method | Finds companies in chip design, semiconductor supply or science labs whose websites mention the methods you name, for example UVM and SystemVerilog, or GLP and ISO/IEC 17025. Filter by years online, score and active status. Up to 25 companies per call, ranked by AI Data Value Score, and the total number of matches. | 1 per company returned |
list_methods | Lists the methods, technologies, certifications and standards in a niche, with how many companies mention each. | 0 |
get_batch_results | Reads the results of a list by its batch id. Batches stay available for 7 days. | 0 |
get_usage | Shows your plan, the lookups used this month and the lookups left. | 0 |
The server also offers two ready prompts, assess_company and rank_company_list, and a short guide to the fields. Every result is the same as in the REST API.
Every API plan includes the MCP server. It uses your API key and the same monthly lookups as the REST API, so one plan covers both.
| Plan | Price | Lookups per month |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $99 a month | 5,000 |
| Pro | $299 a month | 25,000 |
| Scale | $799 a month | 100,000 |
The MCP server scores the companies you name and finds companies by method in three niches. Full industry lists are sold as files on the lists page.
YOUR_API_KEY with your key.Run this in your terminal:
Then type /mcp in Claude Code to see the server and its four tools.
Open Settings, then Developer, then Edit Config. Add this to claude_desktop_config.json and restart Claude Desktop. It needs Node.js on your computer.
If the file already has other servers, add only the "selldatatoai" part inside "mcpServers".
Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json (one project), then open Cursor Settings and check that "selldatatoai" shows four tools.
Add this to .vscode/mcp.json in your project, then start the server from the file and use it in Copilot agent mode.
Any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can connect with these settings:
| Server URL | https://www.selldatatoai.com/mcp/ |
| Transport | Streamable HTTP |
| Header | Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY |
Apps that only connect over stdio can use the Claude Desktop setup above, which runs the bridge mcp-remote.
This command calls the server directly and shows your usage. It does not use a lookup.
A working key returns your plan and the lookups left. A missing or wrong key returns HTTP 401.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way for AI assistants to use outside tools. Our MCP server lets an assistant such as Claude or Cursor call the AI Data Value Score for you while you chat.
Any AI Data Value Score API plan. The MCP server uses the same API key and the same monthly lookups as the REST API. Plans start at $99 a month for 5,000 lookups.
Scoring one company is one lookup. A list costs one lookup per valid, unique domain. Checking your usage and reading the results of a list never use a lookup.
In three niches, yes: chip design, semiconductor supply and science labs. The assistant can find companies by the methods on their websites, up to 25 per call, and each company returned uses one lookup. Full industry lists are sold as files on the lists page.
The key travels in the Authorization header over HTTPS, never in the URL. The server only reads data and changes nothing in your account. You can see your usage in your dashboard at any time.
Scores are estimates from public signals, not valuations and not offers.
