Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records each request it receives: the time, the page requested, the referring page, the browser type and the IP address. We use these records to run the site, to keep it secure and to find errors. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Referral click log. Buttons such as "Apply through micro1" pass through a short redirect on our site (/go/<program>/) before sending you to the buyer program. Each click writes one line to a log: the time, the program, the page you clicked from, and a one-way hashed, shortened version of your IP address. We cannot read your IP address from that value. We use the log only to count referral clicks per page and per program.
The eligibility checker. The checker on /eligibility-checker/ runs entirely in your browser. Your answers (country, headcount, industry, systems and so on) are not sent to our server and are not stored by us.
The company website check. If you use /check-your-company/, the website address you enter is sent to our server. We then read up to four public pages of that website (for example the home, about, careers and help pages) through an outside network service, and send their public text to an AI model provider to pull out facts such as team size, location and founding year. We keep the website address, the result and a salted, shortened hash of your IP address. The result is kept for 7 days so the same check is not run twice, and the hash is kept for the daily limit of three checks. We do not log in to any system, we do not ask for or receive any company data, and we never use the websites people check for anything else: not for lists, not for outreach and not for any other product.
Email. If you write to us, we use your message and address to reply and keep the correspondence as long as needed to deal with your request. We do not add you to any list.
To display pages, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and style and script libraries from jsDelivr and cdnjs. As with any web request, those providers receive your IP address and browser details. Their own privacy policies apply to that processing.
When you click an apply link, you leave this site. Anything you submit to a buyer program, such as micro1, Mode or Grepped, is governed by that company's own privacy policy and terms. We do not receive what you submit there. A program may report referral status to us, for example whether a referred company signed, so that it can calculate a referral fee. We use any such information only to account for referral fees. See our disclosure for how referrals work.
For visitors covered by the GDPR, we process server logs and the referral click log on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and in counting referral clicks (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We process emails you send us to answer them, on the same basis or, where relevant, to take steps you request before a contract.
We keep server logs and the referral click log only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting and referral accounting. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet legal record-keeping duties.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability where it applies. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. Because the click log holds only a hashed value, we may not be able to link an entry to you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work. In Slovenia, that is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec).
If we change how the site handles data, for example by adding a form, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
